Brush Axes

A surveyor’s brush axe is a tool used to clear brush and vegetation to create a line of sight for surveying. They are also known as briar hooks. When choosing a surveyor’s brush axe, you can consider the following factors:
Blade: A thin, double-edged axe is good for cutting through thinner material like brush, briars, and vines. A larger, heavier axe is better for thicker material like small saplings or trees.
Handle: A curved wooden handle can help you swing the axe easily and clear land quickly.
